Who is Zahid Khan?
Muhammad Zahid Khan is a politician from Dir District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. He holds the portfolio of Central Information Secretary of the Awami National Party. He is presently serving as Senator for the second time in the Senate of Pakistan.
Zahid Khan was born in Dir on 14 April 1956. He joined the Awami National Party, eventually becoming Secretary for Finance and a Member of the Central Executive Committee. He was elected as a Member of the Senate of Pakistan from NWFP in 1997 for a period of six years. He is a member of the Senate committees on Communications and Railways, Information and Broadcasting, and Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis.
