Who is Zhu Qingshi?
Zhu Qingshi 朱清时 is the former president of the University of Science and Technology of China, and the founding president of South University of Science and Technology of China.
He was born in Chengdu, Sichuan in 1946, graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1968, with a degree in physics. He became chief of its Laboratory of Bond Selective Chemistry in 1994. He subsequently became Vice-President of the University in 1996, and President in 1998.
