Who is Çağla Büyükakçay?
Çağla Büyükakçay is a Turkish professional tennis player. She is a member of the Enkaspor tennis team.
Büyükakçay has won five singles and nine doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On 19 August 2013, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 139. On 25 October 2010, she peaked at world number 187 in the doubles rankings.
She is the most successful Turkish player in women's singles tennis, as she is the only Turkish woman in the world's top 200. She was also Turkey's first women's tennis player to play a Grand Slam qualification tournament in singles.
Büyükakçay made her debut for the Turkey Fed Cup team in 2004, accumulating an overall record of 23–14.
