Who is A. J. Hinch?

Andrew Jay Hinch is the current vice president of professional scouting for the San Diego Padres. He is a former Major League Baseball catcher and a former manager. Hinch played for the Oakland Athletics, Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Phillies, and managed the Arizona Diamondbacks from May 2009 to July 2010. He has a degree in psychology from Stanford University.
