Who was A. S. J. Carnahan?
Albert Sidney Johnson Carnahan was an United States politician from Southeast Missouri. He began his career as an teacher and school administrator. He then served as a member of the United States House of Representatives for southeastern Missouri for 14 years, becoming the first member of the prominent Carnahan Family to serve in public office.
