Who is Aaron Tap?

Aaron Tap is a musician best known for playing guitar with Matt Nathanson and Paula Kelley. Tap grew up in Lexington, Massachusetts and graduated from Lexington High School. He earned an undergraduate degree in English from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.

Tap plays guitar and sings backup vocals with Nathanson in songs such as "Come On Get Higher" on the album Some Mad Hope. On February 13, 2009, they performed "Come On Get Higher" on the "Late Show with David Letterman." Tap and Nathanson toured Australia in October 2009.

He played guitar, keyboards and sang on Kelley's 2001 debut solo album, Nothing/Everything, and her 2003 follow-up, The Trouble with Success or How You Fit into the World. Tap is also the co-founder of independent record label Stop, Pop and Roll.
