Aaron W. Houghton

Who is Aaron W. Houghton?

Aaron Houghton joined iContact as Chairman and CTO as an initial

founder in July 2003. As the CEO of the initial developer of the

software, North Carolina based Preation, Inc., Aaron has worked with

evolving Internet technologies, improving business interaction with

distributed services via the Web for over ten years. Preation, Inc.

serves the Internet software, maintenance, and strategic marketing

needs of businesses looking to establish and maintain a strong and

effective Internet presence. Prior to iContact, Aaron was the CEO of

CollegeUnited, a pioneer in online auctions, President of

CollegeDirect, a company supporting election information services, and

Chairman of MainBrain School, a provider of school administration

software. Having managed the original development team for the software

under Preation since February of 2002, Aaron also serves as Chairman

for iContact. Aaron holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is active on several

boards, including that of the Carolina Entrepreneurship Club.
