Who was Abba Kovner?
Abba Kovner Hebrew: אבא קובנר was a Lithuanian Jewish Hebrew poet, writer, and partisan leader. He became one of the great poets of modern Israel. He was a cousin of the Israeli Communist Party leader Meir Vilner.
