Who is Abel Talamantez?

Abel Talamántez Mendoza, also known as Ray Talamantez Jr., is a Mexican American singer. He is currently a singer for the band Cruz Martínez Y Los Super Reyes. He was also a member in the 1980s decade of the well known Tex-Mex band La Sombra de Chicago, founded by brothers Tony and Gavino Guerro, where he played trumpet, saxophone, and vocals. Also a former member of the bands Menudo, MDO, and A.B. Quintanilla Y Los Kumbia Kings. He was the second Mexican member of Menudo and the first of Native American descent.
