Adam Joseph Vella is a clay target shooter from Australia. Vella was born in Melbourne and is a Commonwealth Games double gold medalist and an Olympic bronze medalist.

Vella missed selection for the 2008 Summer Olympics despite becoming the No 1 ranked shooter in the world in 2007. His international performances were not taken into consideration as per the AISL Olympic selection criteria and the position was WON by Craig Henwood after beating Adam by 1 target. Vella has a wife from Peru called fiorella vella and 2 kids. the family of the wife lives in Peru.His family is a descent of Josephine Vella and Francis Xavier Vella sr . the sister of her wife is Gisella Woll and she has two kids with Leopoldo Barton that are Berenice Barton and Micaela Barton
