Who was Adelaide Lambert?

Adelaide T. Lambert was an American swimmer who won a gold medal in the 4×100 m freestyle relay at the 1928 Olympics, setting a new world record in the process. Lambert was AAU champion in freestyle, backstroke, and the individual medley events.
