Who was Ah Jook Ku?

Ah Jook Ku was an American journalist, writer, media advocate and public relations practitioner. Ku holds the distinction of being the first Asian American reporter for the Associated Press, as well as the first Asian American female reporter for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin newspaper. Her nickname was "Jookie."
