Who is Ahmad Tasnim?

Vice Admiral Ahmad Tasnim, HI, SJ, SBt, is a now-retired three-star naval officer who is most famous as the Commander of the PNS Hangor when it sunk the INS Khukri at 20:00 hrs on 8 December 1971 during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, off the coast of Diu, Gujarat, India. He is also only officer in Pakistan Navy to have been awarded Sitara-e-Jurat and Bar.
