Al Dampier was a college American football player who played offensive guard for the national championship winning 1958 LSU Tigers football team.
Dampier was born in Sicily Island, Louisiana on May 11, 1938. Dampier received an academic scholarship to Louisiana State University and graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Al Dampier died on January 4, 1998.
