Who is Alain Rossmann?

With more than twenty years' experience, Chairman and co-founder Alain

Rossmann is a well-known technology industry leader and entrepreneur.

He has held many positions in consumer electronics companies, managing

marketing for the original Macintosh launch at Apple Computer and then

serving as Vice President, Operations, of C-Cube Microsystems, the

first company to deliver real-time digital video in consumer

applications. Alain pioneered handheld computing devices while working

as the CEO of EO Corporation, which was bought by ATT, and was a

co-founder of Openwave, where he became widely recognized as the father

of the wireless Internet for his pioneering work on the convergence of

Internet and mobile phone services, and developing the WAP industry

standard. Alain earned an MS in civil engineering from Ecole des Ponts

et Chaussées, an MS in math and physics from Ecole Polytechnique in

France and an MBA from Stanford School of Business.
