Who is Alan Carpenter?
Alan John Carpenter is executive general manager, corporate affairs for Wesfarmers, and a former journalist, West Australian state minister for education and indigenous affairs, minister for education and training, minister for state development and minister for energy, and premier. He was a Labor member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly representing the district of Willagee from 1996 until his resignation from parliament in October 2009.
