Who is Alan Winton?
Alan Peter Winton is the Bishop of Thetford in the Church of England.
Educated at Sheffield University, he was ordained in 1991. His first post was as a Curate in Southgate. Later he was Priest in charge of St Paul's Walden, then CME Officer for the St Albans Diocese. Finally he was Rector of Welwyn.
Bishop Alan is married with two children.
