Who was Albert Spaulding?
Albert Clanton Spaulding was an American anthropologist and archaeologist. Born in Choteau, Montana, he went on to graduate from Montana State University, the University of Michigan, and Columbia University. During his career as a scholar and instructor, Spaulding was instrumental in promoting the application of quantitative methods in the social sciences, especially archaeology.
