Who was Alexander Ogston?
Sir Alexander Ogston KCVO MB FRS CM MD was a Scottish surgeon, famous for his discovery of Staphylococcus. He was the eldest son of Prof. Francis Ogston, Professor of Medical Jurisprudence at the University of Aberdeen.
