Who is Alexei Kovalev?
Alexei Vyacheslavovich "Alex" Kovalyov is a retired Russian professional ice hockey right winger who last played for EHC Visp of Switzerland's National League B. During his career he played in over 1,300 National Hockey League games over 18 seasons for the Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Penguins, and the New York Rangers, with whom he was originally drafted and won a Stanley Cup in 1994. He also played in the Kontinental Hockey League with the Atlant Moscow Oblast.
