Who is Álvaro Magalhães?
Álvaro Monteiro Magalhães, simply known as Álvaro, is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as a left back, and the current manager of C.D. Tondela.
He amassed Primeira Liga totals of 224 games and six goals over the course of 11 seasons, mainly with Benfica with which he spent nine seasons, winning ten major titles.
Álvaro represented Portugal at the 1986 World Cup and Euro 1984.
