Who was Andre Braugher?

Andre Braugher was an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Cassiel in City of Angels, Thomas Searles in the film Glory, Detective Frank Pembleton on Homicide: Life on the Street from 1993 to 1998 and again in the 2000 made-for-TV film, Owen Thoreau Jr. on the TNT show Men of a Certain Age, and as Captain Ray Holt on the Golden Globe-winning best comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
