Who is Andy Dominianni?

Andy Dominianni is an American television journalist who is currently the primary evening anchor at WWMT Newschannel 3 in Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo, Michigan. He has also served as an anchor at WCCO in Minneapolis, WSYX in Columbus, Ohio and WCCB in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dominianni graduated from Kalamazoo College with a degree in Psychology and in 2011 co-authored, along with his wife Erin, a regional history book from Arcadia Publishing entitled Columbus Italians.

He has won numerous journalistic and public service awards including a 2014 Emmy nomination from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, is active with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Michigan, The Community Healing Center and is a frequent emcee and guest speaker at charitable events statewide. Dominianni also dabbled briefly in acting as a child and played the role of The Scoreboard Kid in the 1988 Orion Pictures feature film Eight Men Out starring Charlie Sheen, John Cusack and D.B. Sweeney.
