Who is Anne-Marie Johnson?

Anne-Marie Johnson is an American actress and impressionist who has starred in film and on television.

Johnson is perhaps best known for her role as high school educator Althea Tibbs on the NBC/CBS television drama In the Heat of the Night. She is also known for her role as Nadine Hudson Thomas on the syndicated sitcom What's Happening Now!!. Anne-Marie is the former First Vice-President of the Screen Actor's Guild. She ran for president of the actors' union in 2009 on the Membership First ticket, but lost to eventual winner Ken Howard.
