Who is Arik Hesseldahl?

Arik Hesseldahl is an American journalist currently working as a senior editor for All Things Digital. He writes the column entitled NewEnterprise, which focuses on corporate information technology. He joined the site in December, 2010.

Previously he was a senior technology writer for Bloomberg Businessweek and a reporter for Bloomberg News. He wrote the column "Byte of the Apple" which focused on Apple Inc. for BusinessWeek.com, and also hosted two video podcasts, "Tech 101" and "The Wireless Way."

Before joining BusinessWeek in 2005, he was, from 2000, a senior editor and technology columnist at Forbes.com.

He has also worked for Electronic News, New Century Networks and The Idaho State Journal. He has written for Wired and CJR. He started his professional career as a sports reporter for The Corvallis Gazette-Times, in Corvallis, Oregon.

Hesseldahl graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism with an MS in Journalism in 1997. He also has a BA in Journalism from the University of Oregon, earned in 1993.

He lives in New York City.
