Who was Avrom Yanovsky?
Avrom Yanovsky was a Canadian editorial cartoonist. His cartoons were printed as early as the 1930s. Most of his cartoons were printed in Canadian Tribune. He also illustrated left wing publications like the screenplay for Eight Men Speak. His works have been shown in galleries in Ontario. Yanovsky's archives may be in the process of being donated to the Library Archives Canada.
Yanovsky was appointed as the editor of the English section of Vochenblatt in 1958.
His son was musician and restaurateur Zalman Yanovsky.
