Who is Basil van Rooyen?
Basil van Rooyen is a former racing driver from South Africa. He participated in two Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 1 January 1968. He retired from both, scoring no championship points. He currently resides in St Ives, Sydney.
Van Rooyen later raced in saloons and Formula Atlantic.
