Who was Bennie McRae?

Benjamin Prince McRae is a former American football cornerback who played nine seasons in the National Football League for the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants. He played college football at the Michigan as a running back, kickoff returner and punt returner and was drafted in the second round of the 1962 NFL Draft. McRae was also selected in the eighth round of the 1962 AFL Draft by the Boston Patriots. McRae died on November 22, 2012 on Thanksgiving Day due to an illness at age 72.
