Who is Bernard Jourdain?
Bernard Jourdain is a Belgian born Mexican former race car driver. He started two Indianapolis 500's. He was named the Indy 500 Co-Rookie of the Year in 1989 with Scott Pruett. He entered the 1990 Indy 500, but wrecked twice in practice and failed to qualify. Jourdain is the uncle of racer Michel Jourdain, Jr.. He was also the first foreign-born driver to race for 4-time Indianapolis 500 winner A.J. Foyt, starting and finishing 20th in the 1991 Long Beach Grand Prix.
