Who was Bill O'Callaghan?
William Henry "Bill" O’Callaghan was an Irish hurler who played as a forward for the Cork senior team.
O'Callaghan made his first appearance for the team during the 1892 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen for the next two seasons. During that time he won one All-Ireland medal and one Munster medal. In 1892 O'Callaghan captained the team to the All-Ireland title.
At club level O'Callaghan was a one-time county club championship medalist with Redmond's.
