Who is Bill Sarto?
William R. "Bill" Sarto was the village president of Carpentersville, Illinois until May 5, 2009. Elected on April 5, 2005, his public position is non-partisan. Sarto defeated trustee Paul Humpfer in the 2005 consolidated election. This was Sarto's first public position in the Village of Carpentersville. Sarto filed as a candidate for reelection in the April 7, 2009, consolidated election. He was defeated in the election and completed his term on May 5, 2009.
