Bobby Koefer was born August 18, 1928 in Clay Center, Kansas. Koefer was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of fame in 2005. Koefer toured with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys and performs at the Bob Wills Day festival in Turkey, Texas.
