Who is Bonnie Nardi?
Bonnie Nardi is an American anthropologist whose most recent work concerns virtual worlds. Her book, My Life as a Night Elf Priest: An Anthropological Account of World of Warcraft, was published by the University of Michigan Press in 2010. She is co-author of the forthcoming Ethnography and Virtual Worlds: A Handbook of Method. Nardi is known as the lead author of Information Ecologies: Using Technology with Heart. She is also well known for her work on activity theory. She is a professor in the Department of Informatics at the University of California, Irvine where she leads the TechDec research lab.
