Who is Brian O'Connor?

Brian O'Connor is the head baseball coach of the Virginia Cavaliers. Previously serving as an Associate Head Coach at Notre Dame, he was hired on July 8, 2003, to replace the retiring Dennis Womack. O'Connor has taken the Virginia baseball team to eleven consecutive NCAA baseball tournaments, including the 2009 College World Series, the first in school history, as well as the 2011 College World Series, as the #1 National Seed, and the 2014 College World Series, as the #3 National Seed. He has compiled an overall record of 510–175–2 in his eleven seasons at Virginia.
