Who is Bruce Crabbe?

Bruce Walker Crabbe is an American professional baseball coach and manager. On December 18, 2013, he was named to the 2014 coaching staff of the Pawtucket Red Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball.

Prior to his Pawtucket appointment, Crabbe had managed the Short Season-A Lowell Spinners of the New York–Penn League and the High Class-A Salem Red Sox of the Carolina League, both Boston affiliates, and served as a roving infield instruction coordinator in the Red Sox farm system.

Crabbe has maintained a career for almost three decades of service in baseball; first as a player, and later as a coach, manager and instructor.

He is considered a great teacher of the game, with a proven track record of developing his young players on to the next level. 2013 will represent to him his ninth season in the Red Sox organization and 10th overall season as Minor League manager.
