Buddy Lucas, to me, was also a great 'taskmaster' vocal coach who we had the pleasure of working with in the early 60s with my doo-wop group, The Four Buddies....He later introduced us to the late Van McCoy, with whom we did 5 ("Lonely Summer" being the first) recordings, and he can also be credited with the discovery of the late, Doris ("Just One Look") Troy.
