Who is Cal Perry?

Cal Perry is a broadcast journalist, currently working for Al Jazeera English. At Al Jazeera, Perry is a Middle East correspondent, based in the Jerusalem bureau.

Before joining Al Jazeera he worked for many years with CNN, mostly in the Middle East. During this time, he served as: Bureau Chief in Baghdad, Iraq, Bureau Chief in Beirut, Lebanon and also supervised CNN’s relationship with Middle East nations. From these bases, he also covered the wars in Lebanon, Georgia and Pakistan, plus the aftermath of the devastating cyclone in Bangladesh, in 2007.
