Who is Calum Clark?

Calum Clark is a professional rugby union player for Northampton Saints. His primary position is Openside Flanker. Clark came through the Leeds Carnegie youth academy.

Clark captained the England under 20 team to second place in the 2008 IRB Junior World Championship. However, Clark was sent off in the 38-3 Final defeat against New Zealand for a double headbut having been penalised and warned for foul play earlier in the match.

In 2012 Clark was suspended for 32 weeks after being found guilty of breaking the arm of Leicester hooker Rob Hawkins in the 2012 LV cup final. The ban was initially for 64 weeks but reduced due to his guilty plea. His ban left him free to play again on 2 November 2012.

He lives in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Despite being called up to the England senior squad three times he is yet to make his debut, after twice being injured and once being suspended.
