Who is Cameron Ciraldo?
Cameron Ciraldo is an Italian Australian former professional rugby league footballer. He previously played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Newcastle Knights and Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League. His position of choice was in the second row but he can also play lock.
He is one of the tallest players in the NRL at 194 cm.
Cameron was a finalist in the Sexiest Man in League contest for 2006, where he was placed third with 12.5% of the vote.
On 23 March 2009 when he was playing for the Newcastle Knights against the Cronulla Sharks, Ciraldo suffered an injury identified as a severe dislocation of the right ankle. He was escorted from the field with his ankle rotated at approximately 90-100 degrees.
In August 2011, Ciraldo signed a 2-year deal with the Penrith Panthers.
