Carin Lundin växte upp i Växjö och studerade vid Balettakademiens Musikallinje i Göteborg, Birkagårdens folkhögskola samt vid Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm 1989-93. Hon skivdebuterade 1997 med From Dusk to Dawn.
