Who is Carl Wieman?

Carl Edwin Wieman is an American physicist and educationist at Stanford University and recipient of the Nobel Prize in Physics at the University of Colorado for the production, in 1995 with Eric Allin Cornell, of the first true Bose–Einstein condensate.
