Who is Death of Carlo Giuliani?
Carlo Giuliani was an Italian anti-globalization protester and anarchist who was shot dead by a police officer during the demonstrations against the Group of Eight summit that was held in Genoa from July 19 to July 21, 2001. Giuliani was also run over, and may have been alive when it happened. On June 24, 2013, his relatives filed a civil suit against former police officer Mario Placanica and deputy police commissioner Adriano Lauro regarding his untimely death.
