Who is Carlos Corporán?
Carlos Corporán is a professional baseball catcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball. After being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2003, he spent several seasons with minor league teams in their organization. He briefly debuted in the major leagues with the 2009 Brewers. After playing in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization in 2010, Corporán was called back up to the major leagues again with the Astros in 2011.
While Corporán was with the Astros in 2012, his son died following complications of a cardiac defect that had required multiple surgeries.
