Carlos Ortíz is a Puerto Rican professional boxing champion. Ortíz earned three world boxing championship titles, two in the lightweight division and once in the Jr. Welterweights. Along with Félix "Tito" Trinidad, Miguel Cotto, Wilfredo Gómez, Héctor "Macho" Camacho, and Wilfred Benítez, Ortíz is considered among the best Puerto Rican boxers of all time by sports journalists and analysts.
