Catherine Marie Cortez Masto is an American attorney and politician. She is the current Attorney General of Nevada. She was elected to replace George Chanos. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Cortez Masto is not eligible to run for a third term in 2014 for re-election due to term limits established by the Nevada Constitution.
Cortez Masto declined to run for Governor of Nevada in 2014.
