Catherine Deneuve is a French actress. She gained recognition for her portrayal of aloof, mysterious beauties for various directors, including Luis Buñuel and Roman Polanski. Deneuve won two César Awards for her performances in Le Dernier Métro and Indochine. She has also received BAFTA and Academy Award nominations for Best Actress. In 2008, she appeared in her 100th film, Un conte de Noël.
