Who is Cedric Myton?

Cedric Myton, born 1947 in Old Harbor, Jamaica, is a Reggae musician and Rastafarian. Myton played with Prince Lincoln Thompson in The Tartans in the early 1970s until they apparently fell out. Myton claims to have been one of the backing harmony vocals on Prince Lincoln's Humanity album recorded in 1975, but he is not acknowledged as being so. He then joined up with Ashanti Roy as The Congos. They recorded the album Heart of the Congos, with Lee Perry at the controls, producing what is widely considered one of the great classics of reggae. Later Myton pursued a solo career.
