Who is Charles E. Young?

Charles E. Young, nicknamed Chuck Young, is a former American university administrator and professor. Young is a native of California, and earned bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees before becoming a professor. He is the chancellor emeritus of University of California, Los Angeles and a professor at the UCLA School of Public Affairs, former chancellor of UCLA, former president of the University of Florida, and later the chief executive officer of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.
