Who is Charley Trippi?

Charles Louis Trippi is a former professional American football player for the Chicago Cardinals. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1968.

Trippi currently resides in Athens, Georgia. The football stadium at Pittston Area High School is named "Charley Trippi Stadium" in his honor.
