Who is Cheri Knight?
Cheri Knight was the singer, songwriter and bass player with the Americana/Alternative Country-Rock band Blood Oranges. When the Blood Oranges disbanded she went solo and released two albums, The Knitter, and The Northeast Kingdom. The Knitter, produced by Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, was released on East Side Digital. The Northeast Kingdom was produced by The Twangtrust and was released on E-Squared Records. The musicians appearing on The Northeast Kingdom include Emmylou Harris and Steve Earle as well as Blood Oranges band mates Jimmy Ryan and Mark Spencer.
